Our philosophy of maintenance management
Always those who organize and manage the preventive maintenance of the plants, but not only, make use of a “maintenance form”, where the methods of carrying out the requested intervention are recorded and this is saved in a paper file in the past and in the computer file today.
In the past, on the basis of the information generally provided by the manufacturer of the machinery, a time schedule was established, typically on a time basis; at the expiry date, the indicated intervention was carried out and recorded on the form sheet, so that the next time you could have the maintenance history.
Obviously over time, with the modern technologies, the required information has been increased, but even today it works like this and MainTRACK aims to help the manager and operators to carry out these procedures as quickly as possible in a simple and intuitive way.

FUNCTIONALITIES
PLANNING
Planning of maintenance activities with:
– a graphic representation of the part of the installation affected by the maintenance;
– intervention procedures;
– operators, materials and intrument for intervention;
– operators of external suppliers;
– additional documents: manuals, diagrams, P&ID, etc. ;
– type of notification event, time, counter, threshold or inspection investigation.
SCHEDULING
Tabular visualization of the entire theoretical maintenance plan, with period and number of preset recurrences, obtained by analyzing the planning settings and easily guessed from the graphic representation of the intervention state.
In the case of connection with SCADA , MES or DCS systems, the machine operator can be informed of the maintenance schedule and in the case of TPM directly confirm the maintenance.
FAILURE MANAGEMENT
In addition to the obvious archiving of maintenance operations to failure, MainTRACK can interface directly with machine systems or department MES to receive and pre-fill maintenance requests from various production lines; essential for automatic detection of MTTR.
MACHINES COMMUNICATION
One of the advantages of MainTRACK is the connection to the machines via OPC, directly reading the machine counters for precise planning, replacing the too specific maintenance pages of the HMI and SCADA machine systems. Maintrack implements OPC DA and UA.
SPARE PARTS MAGEMENT
MainTRACK manages both a spare parts list as in the case of the freeware version to a real spare parts warehouse management, in the case of the other two versions.
The warehouses can be different and each element can be associated with a particular warehouse to automate the discharge movements.
REPORTS AND KPIs
The program includes complete reporting for all features with various filters and groupings.
With the advent of KPIs, maintenance management has also introduced its indicators to measure operational effectiveness on maintenance failure. The two main ones are MTTR (average repair time) and MTBF (average time between failures) both managed.
